This piece is a tribute to a mentor I had the opportunity to work with when I was a brand new firefighter. Steve “Sticky” Morrison, a native Floridian with a family farm where they grow citrus and raise honey bees - hence the nickname. Steve, an accomplished musician as well as beekeeper, will be remembered for his lifelong dedication to preserving his native Florida.
