MOON GAZING HARE
This piece is close to my heart, inspired by the timeless allure of hares in folklore.
As I worked on it, I imagined a hare pausing under the full moon, surrounded by the quiet magic of a spring night.
Hares have woven their way into myths around the world. In Ojibwa traditions, the Great Hare, Nanabozho, is a powerful figure—a hero and a trickster who shaped the world and taught humans important lessons. I love how these stories, and the hare’s connection to the moon, align with themes of Renewal, rebirth, and the vibrant energy of spring.
