REGAL FRITILLARY
I was very excited to get a commission for this artwork of the Regal Fritillary (Speyeria idalia) for Glacier Creek Preserve, part of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. This butterfly is a vital native prairie pollinator, and I’m honored to contribute to its conservation through art.
Glacier Creek Preserve supports a large, sustained population of the Regal Fritillary, a species of concern for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
